Hi, I thought I had a 10 mins job to re fit my toilet after some tiling but it has turned into a bit of a nightmare. After re connecting the toliet I had a leak (excuse the pun) from the toliet waste when the toliet was flushed. The only real way to sort this is to remove the loo from the waste pipe and renew the pan connector.....use Toolstations 72849 if the connection is straight, but if its out of line a bit then 55280 is the one to go for. No amount of bodging on these seems to work! John

Make sure there’s no twisting or stress on pipe or flush cone and make sure pipe is fully inserted - don’t want to be adding silicone as it’s a bodge and better to sort the leak properly and not cover it up Also worth checking it’s definitely leaking from the flush cone and not leaking from cistern end and running down pipe !
